Hi Wonderful Neighbors! How happy I was to follow along with the ups and downs you helped your precious daughter through. There is no doubt you placed your hands in the hand of God to guide and direct you and your care group. What super news about the positive outcome. Please know my prayers are with each of you as you help Sylvia through recovery and help her brothers understand why "little sister" needs the extra attention these days. I will be so happy to see "the lights on" in your home. If I don't come over soon please remember I really care and wish you continued grace from God as you move forward. Your caring but invisible neighbors. Don&Margaret
Our daughter Sylvia, is three years old. She began having complex partial seizures in August and our pediatrician referred us to St Paul Children's Hospital to the Epilepsy Clinic. We met with a neurologist and following her EEG, he prescribed an anti-seizure drug and recommended that we also pursue an MRI. On Thursday, September 18th we had an MRI performed at the adjacent, United Hospital and at 6pm our neurologist met with us to tell us the results from the test. He said the MRI located a brain tumor in the divide between the two frontal lobes about 1 1/2" in size. It would be operable and appeared to be contained and slow growing (benign).
