Finally Home

We arrived home later than planned last night. We hurried to leave the hospital yesterday and got out on the freeway in the blowing snow, only to get a flat tire. We called a tow truck to help change the tire and Aunt Krissy came to get us and brought us back to her house for supper (thank you Mercedes for the delicious Bolivian supper). Aane was able to get a new tire and we were able to drive home.
Sylvia had a great day yesterday, and this morning, her walking has been even more improved. There will actually be very little we need to do for followup. We will have to assess the need for physical therapy after we see if her walking spontaneously returns to normal. She will have someone look at the incision on the 23rd and she will have an MRI and a visit with ther surgeon again in 3 months.
Again, I can't thank you all enough for your prayers. We are praising God for healing Sylvia. She has not been having siezures and she appears to be healing exceedingly fast. She seems to be oblivious to the incision on her head. I asked her if she knew why she was at the Doctor's, and she said that she was there to get her shakey arms fixed. So I asked her if she knew why her hair was all messed up. She said she did not know why they put the jelly in her hair because she was asleep when they did it. We are overjoyed.
